So...there was no relaxing today...I worked a half a day and then went to Great Falls Virginia...my first time there, though i've been to the Maryland side before. This shot and the next, of the paddleboat in HdG (the Lantern Queen) were taken this morning, and both make me sigh....they make me relax and take a deep breath.

...At sunrise this morning, I went to photograph the cherry blossoms at the tidal basin surrounding the jefferson memorial. The sky was illuminated in a deep purple color (below) that transitioned into this royal blue as the early morning progressed. It made for some great photos.
