This one has managed to find its way into the Screamer enclosure and makes the most of the free food on offer.
At the Willamette Valley Bird Symposium at Oregon State University. Otis (a Chintimini Wildlife Center "ambassador bird", who cannot be repatriated to the wild) is a male Great Horned Owl who was originally from Arizona (lighter colored than our mud-colored locals). On the way back home, I met a KCMLIN at Hill Street in the last few minutes of light. A clever observer sees a diverging clear signal lit up for a Nebraska City coal train right behind me.
