I spoke of the Horn Lake former neon Kroger just the other day, and here it is - still retaining it's bountiful-2012 décor (as of my last visit at the first of November 2020 at least)! With this store's low ceilings, it might (dare I say it) look pretty decent with the 2012 remix décor, but I've kind of learned to like it just as it is actually. And while I've got the remodel set from this store I took back in late 2014 - early 2015 called up, if you care to, check out the inverse view of this photo also.

Hellfire 1990s line up including stalwart 1956 & with DP Lynx 1266 & outstanding Metrobus 2A 3057.
Both have been restored to very high standard.
All 4 vehicles in the shot take me back to my own 'bashing' days in the late 80s/early 90s.
Lovely stuff.
There's a neat variety outside of Amtrak's Beech Grove Shops, formerly the Big Four heavy locomotive facility, in this view back in February. In addition to the deadline of P40s and P42s, we have the 80Tonner #1000 paired to an F59PHi and a look inside B32-8WH #513 with its prime mover ripped out.
Shout out to the man Kush for this one...Huron n Hoyne throw back i was trying to get this pic but everytime i come thru theres a truck blocking the way...then in the next alley between Huron n Erie going towards Leavitt from Hoyne theres a building on the Erie side with a LK tag as well didnt come out good on my phone

Electronics, and pretty much the entire area of the store comprising "electro-pli-mattresses" (Ha, love that - kudos to Albertsons Florida Blog for coming up with that one!) was empty, save for a few stray mattresses that I believe I have uploaded a photo of in the past.

A common sight in the late 80s and early 90s as 90001 'Royal Scot' and 82139 'My Lovely Horse' pass through Stafford on a test run to Rugby and on the way back to Crewe!
Ok, I almost consider that phrase an oxymoron. Minimalist and frumpy mainstream fashion on the one hand; cropped tops, the slip dress plague and bare legs in winter on the other. The fashion industry tries to sell us 'grunge' style. Even though they failed, I don't take insults to my intelligence lightly. Overall, my least favorite fashion decade. But a couple good things came out of the '90s, like this sweater and skirt. Even though I had to lop a foot off the skirt to make it acceptable.
Gap (probably) mohair sweater
Circle T denim skirt shortened
Coventry snow boots
necklace
Bezoar
All remixed
