"SCAR".... a black tom cat that was hit by a car in our neighborhood and horribly wounded, here completely healed with only a terrible scar in his side and a distinct limp to tell of his brush with death. He is cared for by several households in the immediate area and all look out for him. Here, a black cat in the fall of the year, he strikes a pose.
Definitely my last Robin of the year, I just love their curiosity as I look out of the hide they look in................

Amtrak's San Francisco Zephyr heads Southbound near Brighton, CO on Union Pacific's Greeley Subdivision as it approaches Denver in June of 1982.
Union Pacific GP40X #9005 leads Amtrak F40PH's 368 and 358.
I believe at this time Union Pacific engines were required to lead due to Cab Signal territory in Wyoming but not certain, as I know that later on the F40PH's were equipped with CCS equipment.
