Since the launch of our motion picture scanning and color grading initiative, the Film Photography Project has received hundreds of orders for 8mm, Super 8, 16mm movie film and developing / scan services orders from aspiring and established cinematographers. We are, frankly, awed by the creative talent that exists in this passionate community, and privileged to catch a glimpse of the fascinating family history & snapshots of past eras honored in these home movies and documentaries. While it’s not possible to showcase every remarkable film that comes our way, we’ll endeavor to share insights and tips into the process of those samples we think may most inspire our audience. A warm thanks to Greta Ruth for sharing her inspiration and process behind her Super 8 “Music Video” Heaven After.

We British now. I've always loved those derpy BL Mk.I-V 8-inch guns, they just look so wonderfully simple and effective. Naturally, the Order's desire for a simple and effective heavy artillery piece has led to these being pulled out of storage (in game, at least). There's a war on, after all!

6, 7 & 8 make up a three part series. There is an idea here that I'm still working on. Still have some technical issues to work through - specifically focus and contrast. I think I just need more light. Getting there... Slowly, but getting there.

The brisk fleet turnover at Hulleys shows no sign of slowing, with two Darts and an Eclipse entering service in recent weeks and a decker due shortly. The Eclipse is new-to-Diamond BK13NZT which last operated in Shetland with Andrews in July and has taken fleet number 8 freed up by the withdrawal of a Dart a few weeks ago. This view sees the vehicle illuminated by the first of its third day in service's plentiful sunshine as it climbs away from Wardlow Mires with the 08:05 Chesterfield-Bakewell X70.
Since September 2020, the X70 has incorporated Lady Manners school service 018, meaning that the depicted journey towards Bakewell and an afternoon return deviate via Wardlow and Stoney Middleton, adding around half an hour to the journey time. Wardlow is otherwise served by Hulleys' 173, and Stoney Middleton by Stagecoach's 65 and Hulleys' 257.

This is my work for the the group "52 weeks: the 2016 edition" with the new weekly theme "reflections".
In these days it rains a lot but nevertheless this couple decided to go out - as well as me. In the city I had a delicious diner and I hope this two had a wonderful time too.
A couple of new restaurants in our town, on State St.
*The 8 State Bistro went out of business in 2017 and was replaced by the Boar & Barrel.
