Copenhagen. Arriva 1974. It's the beginning of the end for the Volvo 8500LE on the B7RLE chassis in Copenhagen. They have been ultra reliable - and after almost 12 years of daily abuse - there are still life left in them

Glostrup Scrapyard. Arriva 5667 ready to be recycled after only 11 years of service

2-3 minutes later the bus' engine was turned off for the last time in the scrapyard. There was a total of 6 buses that were headed there but I could only get more or less acceptable photos of 2 of them. It's so crazy to me that there were still such old Volvos used in Stockholm. It's even older than Stockholm's last 8500LEAs that were also taken to scrapyard about a week ago.
