Copenhagen. Arriva 1974. It's the beginning of the end for the Volvo 8500LE on the B7RLE chassis in Copenhagen. They have been ultra reliable - and after almost 12 years of daily abuse - there are still life left in them
Västtrafik AB (operated by Keolis Sverige AB): the bus number 2816 (Volvo B12BLE / Säffle 8500LE, registration ASD 713) working a service in the Gul Express line to Jonsered.
Brøndby. Nobina 6033 on the southern part of route 300S that was replace the same day by new Light Rail system
2-3 minutes later the bus' engine was turned off for the last time in the scrapyard. There was a total of 6 buses that were headed there but I could only get more or less acceptable photos of 2 of them. It's so crazy to me that there were still such old Volvos used in Stockholm. It's even older than Stockholm's last 8500LEAs that were also taken to scrapyard about a week ago.

Storstockholms Lokaltrafik AB (operated by Nobina Sverige AB): the bus number 7395 (Volvo B9SA LE/Säffle 8500 LEA) departs from the central station with an interurban service in the line 677 to Norrtälje.
Greve. The Danish Emergency Management Agency is simulating an accident on withdrawn Arriva 5666 before scrapping

Copenhagen. Arriva 1057 is one of Copenhagens oldest Movia buses still in service, but will be replaced at the end of the year by MAN Lion's City E
Copenhagen. Ex. Arriva 1906 now Bustrafikken 008 at work as a shuttlebus between Copenhagen Central Station and the ferry to Norway. 1906/008 has cheated death twice now, it was withdrawn in 2019 & 2021, both times reinstated in service by Arriva. In 2022 it was sold to a company who use it as train-replacement bus - or in this case - shuttlebus.
