Monasterio de Quilvo, Maule,Chile.
Mi idea era fotografiar su interior, pero al ir de compras al supermercado e ir en busca de unas cosas a la casa de un amigo, se me ha hecho algo tarde.
Al regresar a Casa me he pasado por Quilvo, por suerte mía la entrada al monasterio aun estaba abierta, pero no así la iglesia. Al encontrarme con la puerta cerrada y con la cámara montada en el trípode decidí no volver a casa con las manos vacías por lo que ubique un buen lugar para realizar una toma de su exterior.

#2015PortraitProject Day 83
Meet @ryspe_! I’ve known Rylan since 2012, we had talked about the possibility of collaborating with each other that year but it never materialized until the winter of 2013. The first time we ever shot with each other was the weekend before I had gone on holidays in Toronto during that winter— yes that was the trip where it had taken me 30+ hours by train to get to #YYZ and spend Christmas with my relatives. Rylan’s an engineering student at the UofS but she’s also been modelling in her free time. I’ve had the opportunity to work with her and see us both learn from each other at every shoot as the years have gone by. She’s also become a good friend of mine that I could easily grab drinks with on weekends and suppers with. Recently, she’s just found an appreciation for sushi too and last Thursday we hung out and got some sushi. Rylan also makes some really delicious butter chicken! It’s her birthday today too so I couldn’t have asked for a better person to have her portrait taken today!
We took this portrait this morning since I had a wedding to photograph with @lushstudiosyxe for most of the afternoon and I wanted to make sure that I got my portrait of the day no matter what. I hope you have a fantastic birthday today Rylan, wishing you all the best!

I was in Licoln, after driving my wife to a choir practice, so I took a walk. I had a good feeling I'd find an #83 although I didn't have any reason other than blind hope. When I saw the Lincoln Tank Memorial I knew there'd be an #83 on there somewhere.
