Two days ago on April 29th I told one of my contacts who had an oriole picture that the earliest I've seen one here was May 5th, but I did not know when it actually had arrived. So I decided to put an orange out early and today May 1st one has arrived!

The House of Sandeman was founded in London in 1790 by George Sandeman, a young Scotsman, and has grown to be one of the most prestigious Porto Wine brands in the world.

The Sandeman Museum takes you back to 17th century London r recounting the history of the brand through an exhibition of bottles, paintings, photographs, ceramics and other artifacts, gathered through the centuries and passed from generation to generation.

[Klokkestraat, Duffel, Antwerpen, België]: We blijven nog even in Duffel. Naast de S1-treinen tussen Antwerpen en Nijvel maken ook de IC-treinen tussen Turnhout en Binche (deels) gebruik van lijn 27. Zoals gewoonlijk is de inzet van materieel op deze verbinding (en bijgevolg ook op Antwerpen – Turnhout) zeer divers. Het meest voorkomend zijn de MR75, die afwisselend solo, gekoppeld en in combinatie met een Klassiek Motorstel worden ingezet.
Op 4 maart werd de 829 ingezet voor één van de IC-treinen tussen Turnhout naar Binche. Als IC 3431 passeert het opvallend schone treinstel Duffel onderweg naar Mechelen, Brussel en het eindpunt Binche.
