Fallen dogwood leaves blanketing the ground in Greensboro, North Carolina, on the first Wednesday in November of 2018.
It's a joy to see so many goldcrests around this year - so busy and usually oblivious to sneaky photographers.
Morning mist is hanging around as CP 8157 & BNSF 8466 approach the coal sprayers at Carlin on the north track.
An old Ex-L&N SD40 with a high headlight and YN2 livery leads Q237 through Florida, here seen north of Hawthorne.
A pair of YN2 locos have a small meat together along their journeys, before continuing their south and northbound journeys. Q170 faces north near Ocala as 237 flies by.
