I took so many pictures of these caribou because it was such a treat to be able to see them in the wild. They were migrating through this area and sometimes came closer to check out what we were because they had never seen people before. Taken in the Southern Arctic in Nunavut, Canada.

Charter boat cruising by Pulpit Rock..........
Pulpit Rock is a coastal feature at Portland Bill, the southern tip of the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. Intended to have the appearance of an open bible leaning on a pulpit, Pulpit Rock was formed in the 1870s after a natural arch was cut away by quarrymen at Bill Quarry, and the leaning slab was added. As a quarrying relic the rock is similar to that of Nicodemus Knob, another quarrying landmark on the island.
Pulpit Rock has become a popular tourist attraction on the island and is often photographed.[ Despite the danger, for many decades it has been a popular place for tombstoning. Pulpit Rock is also a popular point for wrasse anglers. The British record Ballan wrasse was caught there in 1998 by Pete Hegg.
As thunderstorms form over the distant plains, an extra 'RO' pulls the grade up 3-track at Harriman, Wyoming as it seeks the summit of Sherman Hill. Harriman was once an important stop during the steam era for water, and fuel if needed, the water tank (now removed) served as a reminder of this location's importance.

The Story: Norfolk Southern Train 14G passing through Valley Forge Park, approaching a stop at Abrams Yard for some quick work. The guy walking his dog most likely has zero idea of why there's 25 people standing around with cameras.

NS heritage unit N&W 8103 leads train 310 across the ugly arch bridge in Letchworth State Park in Portageville, NY on May 9, 2020. Photo angles around the bridge suck with all the deer fencing they put up around the ends to protect all the trees they planted to restore the "forest". Funny thing is that 40 years ago this was all wide open, so what would have been wrong with leaving it open. The vegetation would take over on its own soon enough.
