"The Peugeot 504 is a mid-size, front-engine, rear wheel drive automobile manufactured and marketed by Peugeot for model years 1968-1983 over a single generation, primarily in four-door sedan and wagon configurations — but also with two-door coupe, convertible and pickup truck variants.
The 504 was noted for its robust body structure, long suspension travel, and torque tube drive shaft — enclosed in a rigid tube attached at each end to the gearbox housing and differential casing, relieving drive train torque reactions. The 504 ultimately achieved widespread popularity in far-flung rough-terrain countries — including Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Benin, Kenya and Nigeria.
More than three million 504s were manufactured in its European production, with production continuing globally under various licensing arrangements — including 27,000 assembled in Kenya and 425,000 assembled in Nigeria, using knock-down kits — with production extending into 2006.
Having debuted as Peugeot's flagship at the 1968 Paris Salon, the 504 received the 1969 European Car of the Year.
In 2013, the LA Times called it "Africa's workhorse."

"The Peugeot 504 is a mid-size, front-engine, rear wheel drive automobile manufactured and marketed by Peugeot for model years 1968-1983 over a single generation, primarily in four-door sedan and wagon configurations — but also with two-door coupe, convertible and pickup truck variants.
The 504 was noted for its robust body structure, long suspension travel, and torque tube drive shaft — enclosed in a rigid tube attached at each end to the gearbox housing and differential casing, relieving drive train torque reactions. The 504 ultimately achieved widespread popularity in far-flung rough-terrain countries — including Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Benin, Kenya and Nigeria.
More than three million 504s were manufactured in its European production, with production continuing globally under various licensing arrangements — including 27,000 assembled in Kenya and 425,000 assembled in Nigeria, using knock-down kits — with production extending into 2006.

The Sunbeam Tiger first saw the light of day in 1964. Based upon the Rootes Group Sunbeam Alpine, the 4260cc Ford V8 that could be found within the AC Cobra, was slotted into the engine bay and in doing so made what is surely one of motoring's true 'wolf in sheep's clothing'. Precise handling was retained by keeping the Alpine's rack and pinion steering with knock out performance due not only to the muscle V8 but also due to the lightweight Alpine shell.
Sonetimes described as The Poor Man's Cobra the Tiger 1 was replaced by the Tiger II for 1967-68 with a more powerful 200bhp Mustang 289 engine, with wider gear ratios, and an alternator replacing the dynamo of the Tiger 1. A new grille and go-faster stripes.

Electrical stimulus directly to the left tibialis anterior of a mouse produces an unfused tetanus.
The length is effectively unchanged which makes this an isometric contraction. If I read correctly, the length varied by about 10 micrometers. Passive tension is about 0.4 N (shown at cursor 3) and total tension is about 1.2 N (delta tension of 0.75 N).
Latency between stimulus and peak contraction was about 15 milliseconds.
Unfortunately, the pentobarbital caused the mouse (#435) to die during vivisection so this tetanus was taken from a dead mouse approximately 20 minutes after death. Subsequent stimulations produced less and less force likely due to ATP consumption.
