Early running Aurizon Intermodal service 7AD1 from Islington to Berrimah works through Two Wells on the mainline behind GWA001/CLP14 on Saturday the 1st of October 2022. Both locomotives still wear the logos from the now defunct One Rail Australia brand which Aurizon purchased at the end of July.
Aurizon run 6 return Intermodal services to Darwin each week, most of these trains are nocturnal runners with exception to services 4DA2, 7AD1 and 6DA2.

Aurizon Adelaide to Darwin intermodal service 7AD1 with EMD units GWA007 and CLP17 are seen approaching Mallala SA with a short ish consist of intermodal containers and a few diesel tankers.

Running slightly late, Aurizon Intermodal service 7AD1 from Islington to Berrimah works past the Viterra grain facility at Bowmans behind GWU015/ALF20 on Saturday the 15th of October 2022.
GWU015 wears Aurizon logos and is one of only two locos from Aurizon's Bulk Central division at the time of this post to be branded in Aurizon, GWU014 is the other. Aurizon run 6 return Intermodal services to Darwin each week, most of these trains are nocturnal runners with exception to services 3DA6, 7AD1 and 6DA2.

Freightlinks FQ01 leads ALF18 & ALF19 as they power 7AD1 through Gallipoli Crossing near Mallala bound for Darwin.
GWA intermodal service 7AD1 powers through Direk with GWA006/ALF22 on Saturday the 13th of May 2017. Genesee and Wyoming are celebrating 20 years of operations in Australia in November.

The marvellous Flinders Ranges dwarf ORA Intermodal service 4DA2 from Darwin to Adelaide as locomotives GWA006/ALF18 slow towards the triangle at Coonamia on Thursday the 5th of November 2020.
ORA run 6 return Intermodal services to Darwin each week, most of these trains are nocturnal with exception to services such as 4DA2, 7AD1 and 6DA2. 4DA2 is unique as it shunts on Ore loading at Wirrida for forwarding to Port Adelaide's Berth 29 for export overseas, this practice however has replaced dedicated service 1911S/9112S towards the end of 2019.

Finding a rare patch of sun, ORA Intermodal service 7AD1 from Islington to Berrimah works towards the township of Mallala behind GWA003/ALF20 on Saturday the 2nd of April 2022. ORA run 6 return Intermodal services to Darwin each week, most of these trains are nocturnal with exception to services 4DA2, 7AD1 and 6DA2.
The sale of One Rail Australia to Aurizon has been dragging on for a while now, however by the end of the financial year, SA/NT operations of ORA will be under Aurizon with the coal division in New South Wales and Queensland operating separately.

The last bit of a storm has just cleared as ACD6071,FQ02 are about to depart from the main line at Hugh River in the Northern Territory on 7AD1 to Darwin after crossing the Adelaide bound Intermodal DA2 service on 2-11-25
After crossing 4MP5 at Long Plains, Aurizon Intermodal service 3DA6 from Berrimah to Islington works through the locality of Korunye behind GWA005/ALF18/ACD6046 on Thursday the 14th of December 2023.
The ACD, AQQY In-Line Fuelling wagon and ADHY Crew Car were picked up from Spencer Jct earlier in the afternoon after being detached off fellow Aurizon Intermodal service 3PS1 the evening prior, 3DA6 is often utilised to transfer these items to Adelaide in order to be provisioned and serviced before hitching a lift back to Spencer Jct on Saturday’s via 7AD1 in preparation for the arrival of 6SP1.

GWA’s Adelaide to Darwin Intermodal 7AD1 is seen powering up through Two Wells, South Australia with GWA locomotives GWA008 & ALF22 leading on Saturday the 25th of January 2020.
One Rail Australia locomotives CLF6/G533, with train #5114 formed of 50 loaded grain hoppers from Gladstone, South Australia, are slowing to stop in the crossing loop at Two Wells to allow northbound intermodal #7AD1 to pass - Saturday 19 February 2022.

GWA008 & CLP16 can be seen between Virginia and Two Wells while working a later and normal 7AD1 on Saturday 26th of March 2016

Powering through the trees alongside the Augusta Highway at Winninowie, Gennesee & Wyomings 7AD1 service to Darwin enjoys an afternoon of perfecting light for photographers as it snakes it's way North.
UGL C44ACi GWU002 and EDI GT46C FQ04 still in FreightLink livery lead the vital cargo on board bound for Alice Springs, Darwin and other Northern Territory towns.
Another change in the South Australian rail scene during 2020 has been the renaming of Genesee and Wyoming Australia (GWA) to One Rail Australia (ORA), while the iconic G&W livery will be retained for now, the logo is expected to change on both the fleet of locomotives and corporate signage.
With 5PM9 paused on the mainline at Snowtown, ORA Intermodal service 7AD1 approaches the township to take the crossing loop with GWA002/ALF23 on Saturday the 14th of March 2020.
