This barn is on what was suppose to be the Seven Falls Golf and River Club in Etowah, North Carolina. It was shot from quite and distance and there was a lot of haze, but I kind of like how it came out because of that.

Went on a hike this week in search of some early fall color. I saw very little fall color but did find some beautiful wildflowers.

Roberval Saguenay's #51 is seen here used as the Port-Alfred switcher. Her days are probably numbered as this is the last Super 7 on the roster. I haven't seen #50 in months and i've seen #52 butchered up in pieces at Arvida about two weeks ago. On the right is a solid set of 4 RS GP38-2's bound for Arvida.

Day 7 started off with multiple trains running on the Northernland Sub, with all but one running with the wrong light. With nothing else running with good light, I would chase BAL441-5 south to Emeril before cutting off to shoot the northern end of QCM.

After meeting 3 trains at Opocopa Siding, BAL441-5 hammers south at Mile 13, with a long line of loads from the Champion Iron Mine at Bloom Lake, just over the border in Quebec.

Bloom Lake seems to be the second busiest mine in the area, second to Carrol Lake and receives 4-6 trains per day. Genessee and Wyoming's Western Labrador Rail Services handles the loading and movement of trains between Bloom Lake and the QNS&L interchange, using QNS&L power. Additionally, WLRS handles the mine traffic on the former Wabush Railway, serving the namesake mine. WLRS also handles the operations on the Knob Lake & Timmins Railway near Schefferville, NL on Tshiuetin Rail Transportation, serving the Knob Lake mine owned by the Labrador Iron Mines Holding Company.

1648 424-7 fährt im September 2020 als RB43 aus dem Bahnhof von Blumenberg aus. Nur wenige Wochen später wird der Bahnhof Blumenberg in seiner Herrlichkeit Geschichte sein. Das Abellio im DISA Netz nur 4 Jahre später ebenfalls am Ende ist hätte damals niemand gedacht. Im Dezember 24 übernimmt DB Start die Triebwagen und Strecken von Abellio, ob es danach besser läuft?

Abellio 1648 424-7 powers out of the once glory station of Blumenberg, a few weeks later and everything was gone. Some 4 years Later and the Abellio DISA network is in his last

legs.
