Every once in a while you're at the right place at the right time. I was actually packing up that evening as the sun had set and the color was gone. Then all of a sudden the sky started to light up again with reds, pinks and oranges. It was one of the most colorful sky's I've seen. I grabbed my camera and tripod, ran back to the marina and made this image. It was well worth the 7 dollar fee to enter the park that day. Joe Pool Lake, Grand Prairie, Texas, April 2015

Over the years 2001-2019 I had driven literally thousands of miles with 43299 on ECML services. Over the last decade mostly on the Edinburgh- Aberdeen/ Inverness routes.
Its good to see it has found employment elsewhere since 2019, albeit on a temporary basis from what I've been told.
All done with sunlight. I boosted the color saturation a little 8%. My 777th picture on Flickr. Just getting warmed up.

Le PEV fait partie intégrante du groupe "mousse ventilation", du renfort incendie et du renfort habitation.
Ici en intervention pour un incendie dans un hôtel.
10.11.2015 ||Szlak Górażdże - Przywory Opolskie|| 183 044-7 + SM42-2214 ze składem kamienia podążają malowniczą linią z Kędzierzyna Koźla do Opola Groszowic. Niedługo miejsce to zmieni się całkowicie. Widoczne w tle drzewa wycięto pozostawiając 15 metrów wolnej przestrzeni. Niedawno rozpoczął się remont całej linii. Na ten moment prace prowadzone są w torze nr 1 od Raszowej aż do Gogolina. Po zakończeniu robót prędkość pociągów ma wzrosnąć aż do 160km/h. Jest to duży skok zważywszy na agonalny stan linii i prędkości drogowe od 50 do 80km/h.
