One of only two true Torrent Ducks in the world, Beautiful, trusting and comical. Sadly yet another of our species loosing the battle to mans indifference and greed.....
Agriculture practises now include spraying huge areas of land with Glyphosphate and other insidious chemicals which leeches directly into the waterways killing all manner birds, both directly and by destroying the insect life that sustains them......It also I imagine is part of the reason Cancer is becoming all too common...
Blue Ducks need pristine water conditions to survive, this is becoming hard to find....
