First meeting this year, with Malcolmia maritima
This is a photograph where everything was going wrong but turned out right. This of course is a time exposure of 30 seconds and the round spots are rain droplets on the filter. The upper left is my effort to protect the lens from the rain by using my cupped hand but still getting it in view of exposure. A professor I had in college called these type of happenings;
"the happy accident".
I thought this fitting to post at this time of year.
