Clean UP 7804 accelerates from the pickup at Linwood and crosses the bridge to head further east and pick up the rest of the crew at the DQ in Bonner.
This shot is getting closer to being a great AM shot as the sun swings back north.
Errance

With the downtown Winnipeg skyline serving as the backdrop, CN 101 approaches Union Station, continuing west along the CN Rivers Sub.
It's getting harder and harder to shoot loaded coal trains on the UP, and shooting ones that aren't double length as well.
Today I guess I got lucky and got a clean UP ES44AC leading a loaded coal train at Krieger. Train is crossing over from M1 to M2 in the background at Loring.
It was bit windy today, but manageable considering the cold temps. I even managed to get a run in today in this frigid temps. No rest for the weary.
UP 7804 at Linwood yesterday while the crew was making a pickup of the cars off the siding there. Too bad they all aren't as clean as the lead motor here.
