How about ordinary Pippi basking in the sunlight where she mainly hangs out these days….on the yellow bookshelf amongst all the books. She used to travel with me where ever I went but lately she has found her home in the books. Which makes me think I should move her back to my purse. I special ordered her from a very talented doll maker, Vanessa Snow. I adore Pippi so much and for many reasons. One….she is a fellow red-head and two, she is so brave, she is full of adventure, she tells the best stories and she is strong…really incredibly strong and seems to make the best out of even the most challenging situations. So this makes up my mind. I’m tucking her back in my bag to remind me of all these things and I do think she may be longing for more adventure.

I know this isn't a very St. Paddy's Day appropriate, but crossing the street today, the sun was in the most amazing spot, lighting up Grand Central.
