Two BNSF trains sit parked on the Lakes Sub at Vet's Crossing just west of Boylston waiting for a UP hazmat derailment at Saunders to be stabilized. Train on the left looked like a unit grain train and the one on the right a manifest likely from Grand Forks.

Danaus gilippus. It had been eating leaves of a milkweed vine (Matelea reticulata) twining through this juniper tree. The caterpullar was large and seems to have left the vine behind--might possibly be looking for a place to pupate at this point.
