A pair of F unit helpers await their next assignment at the east end of the Susquehanna, PA depot. April 1975.
I arrived at this spot just after 3 to get photos of 712, 716 & 732 and first time round I got off the bus to see 732 leave the stop and balls a shot up of 716 and 712 was ages away so I decided to come back and have another shot second lucky happened. Here we see what could be one of 732s last days in service seen here at Abbeyhill on a service 44 to Wallyford.

The Tarahumara are native people who inhabit the Copper Canyon region of Chihuahua, Mexico. Using a double-weave technique, the women weave these nested baskets (9 diminutive baskets nestled inside the largest of them, for a total of 10) using needles from the apace pine tree and split leaves from the sotol cactus. The outside basket measures 2.75 inches across at is widest point and the nested baskets are less than 1.5 inches tall. They have a lovely pine fragrance.
