When it gets nice outside, I put on my hippiest music and air out all my camping stuff all over my apartment. Then I get really antsy because it's still not nice enough to go camping in my definitely not 4-season tent.

I want to climb something, gosh-darn it!!! I am going insaaaaaaane!! Winter has been too dang long.

Also, I realized while unpacking it that I didn't pay full-price for any of this stuff. Most of it is used. I am insanely cheap. Heh.

So I bought this cool basket with the intention of put some sort of useless but pretty decoration in it. No go. Instead, it's become a catch-all for Jeff's crap (crap = keys, cigarettes, and miscellaneous pocket junk) and the cat's fave napping nest. Figures.

TRF: I just chopped my hair off...and it feels wonderful!

Hoy había una competición de canicross en Guadalajara. Aprovechando que una amiga de mi hija competía (y que yo vivo en las casas del fondo de la foto...) hemos ido a ver la competición. Era un buen momento para tratar de hacer una foto del día de "reportaje", que es algo que no suelo hacer.

Esto que veis es la salida de la carrera popular, y aunque he hecho muchas de perros corriendo con sus amos, de perros solos y algunas otras mas "artísticas", creo que esta refleja perfectamente el ambiente y que puede ilustrar el acontecimiento. Pondre alguna foto más para completar el ambiente.

Por cierto, la amiga de mi hija ha ganado en su categoría. Enhorabuena, Raquel!

tomorrow is the start of a new era for me. thank you to all who have wished me luck, it means a huge amount that people out there care.

to my friends and contacts in Winchester, do not fear, my parents are still here, and you are likely to continue (or indeed start) to feature in my life, both within and outwith photography.

i am without an internet connection as yet at the new flat, but i do have ways an means, there may just be the occasional gap in uploading and staying in contact, but it will get more regular, and you'll get a new variety of locations and fun.

anyway, to sleep now, a very long day ahead of me tomorrow. i'll see you on the flipside!

DAY 72 - THE INITIATOR. Continuing our introduction of the pack, we have little Maya. A cairn terrier, who somewhere figured out how to go 'stealth' and initiate certain, let's say, behaviors that are not looked upon favorably. She gets the rest of the pack to fall in line behind her. She is a little ball of love and she will let you know when she wants your attention. Maya is now 10 years old and has been with us since puppy hood.
