Three O'clock in the afternoon in Aberdeenshire for this shot and I'm looking at a Pseudo sun set in the East (Clearly the Sun sets in the West).
The after glow of the setting sun reflecting off the distant clouds which are high enough to reflect the late afternoon rays.
Technicalities aside the gorgeous pale winter blue of the sky combined with the pale tangerine glow through the high snowy trees builds quite a special scene.
