NBL 2-8-0 No. 719 arriving at Rede with the 01.25 overnight mixed train from Porto Campanha to Regua. 17 September 1971.
Zur Ergänzung des vorhandenen auf der Basis des 614 gebauten Schienenprüfzugs 719 001/ 720 001/ 719 501 wurde von der DB im März 1996 ein zweiter Triebzug in Betrieb genommen, der eine Neuentwicklung von Plasser & Theurer war und aus den Triebköpfen 719 101 und 102 sowie dem Mittelwagen 720 101 bestand.
Nachdem die Antriebsanlage wegen zu einer zu hohen Masse des Zuges ausgebaut wurde, wurde der Zug zunächst mit zwei Lok der BR 203.3 gekuppelt; 2013 wurden die beiden antriebslosen Triebköpfe abgestellt und 2014 verschrottet. Der Mittelwagen 720 101 ist bis heute gekuppelt mit 218 392 und einem Steuerwagen der Reihe Bybdzf 482.1 weiterhin als Schienenprüfzug unterwegs.
Interessant ist auch die Anwendung des Produktfarbenkonzeptes mit zwei Farbtönen in einer gelben Bahndienstfahrzeugvariante,

No trace of 719 JEV on any databases, I'd guess this has been off the road for decades. Nice old Honda motorbike too, also looking rather forlorn, and a nice old generator, if anyone has any interest. Does anyone know what kind of car this is? I guessed it's a Morris Minor, but cars from the 40s/50s look fairly similar to me.
IL CHIOSTRO DEL SANTUARIO
Il Santuario, posto sul colle a dominare e proteggere Vicenza, è dedicato alla Madonna di Monte Berico, che è anche la patrona della città. Qui, da quasi sei secoli, i Servi di Maria accolgono ogni anno migliaia di fedeli provenienti da tutta Italia e dall’estero.
La Basilica di Monte Berico fu eretta nel Quattrocento, dopo le apparizioni della Vergine Maria a Vincenza Pasini. La Madonna prometteva la fine della peste e chiedeva che in quel luogo le fosse dedicata una chiesa. Così nel 1428, in pochi mesi, sorse la prima chiesetta tardogotica e un piccolo cenobio per ospitare una comunità religiosa dedita all'accoglienza dei pellegrini.

THE CLOISTER OF THE SANCTUARY
The Sanctuary, located on the hill overlooking and protecting Vicenza, is dedicated to Our Lady of Monte Berico, who is also the city's patron saint. Here, for nearly six centuries, the Servants of Mary have welcomed thousands of faithful from all over Italy and abroad every year.
The Basilica of Monte Berico was built in the 15th century, following the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Vincenza Pasini. Our Lady promised an end to the plague and requested that a church be dedicated to her on that site. Thus, in 1428, within a few months, the first late-Gothic church and a small monastery were built to house a religious community dedicated to welcoming pilgrims.
