Curious craft!
I took this image some years ago. I didn't know what is was then & I still have no idea.
It appears to provide accommodation but has no steering gear or apparent means of propulsion. I can only assume that it is meant to be towed behind another boat.
Does anyone know anything about this little craft?

Male Smew, Mergellus albellus, 15 - 17 in. / 38 - 44 cm. Very RARE visitor to western Alaska. A very distinctive small merganser. The only surviving member of its genus.
