created for the french challenge forum : "glyptodon" ( www.pliagedepapier.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&p=712... ) for the annual convention of the MFPP in Dijon (france) where there is a glyptodon in the museum.
this model come from a frog base without grafting fold in 50/50cm lokta paper with a lot of MC to shape it !!!!
Perhaps not a real glyptodon because the body is not really the same but I'm quite proud of it !

This image:
This is Design 71228 per the rainlap diagram on the rear of top left Panel A1. I've dated it to 1972 based upon the number "2" as the 3rd digit in the numbering system, but that's pure speculation. Their system changed from very simple to very obscure in the later years (69-x, 70-x, 71-x, 711xx, 712xx, 73xx, etc.) until some didn't even have numbers at all toward the end. This image was also included in the small American Contemporary Graphics booklet #47 that was issued in 1973. It could also be from earlier.
21'x10' vintage billboard acquired in Mint condition.
It has 12 panels at 43" wide x 59" tall.
This is one of TWO-OF-A-KIND. I know of one other copy in this 21'x10' billboard Size "A" at this time.
The illustrator was featured on pages #5 & 6 with her more famous "Butterfly & Bottle" image in a small American Contemporary Graphics booklet from about 1971-72:

On Wednesday June 30th 2010, GBRf 66728 "Institution of Railway Operators" worked 5E13, from Stewarts Lane - Doncaster, conveying Southern 3rd Rail 313216. Between Offord and Huntingdon, a fault developed, and the train was halted for an hour in the left background.
After a travelling fitter attended, the train got going again. It stopped briefly at the southern end of Platform 3, to drop off the fitter.

Sigma AF 50/1.4 EX DG HSM shot on D800. Developed in Lightroom 4.4 to Camera Standard, CA-removal=ON, NRed=OFF, sharpening at 70/0.5/36/10.
