Yes! These were mine back in the day! The ones on the left were necklaces Mom & Dad gave me during that time! I picked up the one on the right years later. :) WOW! I STILL think they are cool! :)
Maybe it was the influence of TV’s ‘Charlie’s Angels’ back then, but even when I was a kid back in the 70’s, Sindy’s tailored outfits were always my favourites. My favourite suit of all was the bright yellow pantsuit ‘Sunshine Girl’ from 1977 (also named ‘Let’s Go Shopping’ which was the USA Marx version that was sold in 1978, which the one you see here actually is…) I also used to put that suit on a very similar looking chestnut-haired gal I had as a kid to the one wearing it here, (one even wore it in the 1977 UK booklet!) and even accessorised it with that deep chocolate brown headband from a childhood accessory pack, so this is a wonderfully nostalgic throwback for me! Brunette Lovely Lively is wearing another knockout 70’s suit, but this was one that I always wanted as a kid but could never find back then; - ‘High Style,’ also from 1977. Some think that the jacket is exactly the same cut on both, but you can see the differences here, especially with the collars, lapels and the sleeves. They are such sleek, tailored 70’s babes!
I am OBSESSED with Sindy’s Mix N’ Match collections. I already have the entire 1978 and 1979 collections and a few items from 1980, ’81 and now the very first range from 1977. I especially love My Titian Ballerina’s ‘NICE ONE SINDY’ T-shirt and that pretty dusky pink sweater draped over her arms! (I don’t have the ochre/yellow pants from this range yet, so just used her yellow flares from that ‘Sunshine Girl’ pantsuit instead.) I also used some other pieces I have from that 1977 range on my 1976 ash blonde short-haired Funtime gal, for a very 70’s look of bright yellow ribbed terry towelling sweater over that denim-ish cornflower blue A-line skirt. Her Friend June is riding up on the elevator to greet her, now in the Mego ‘Jumper N’ Jeans’ outfit from 1975/76. (She ‘bought’ those cool rounded glasses perched on her head from the 1976 Barbie Fashion Plaza!) If anyone out there has the rest of the pieces from that 1977 Mix N’ Match range and are willing to sell them, let’s talk!!! :P (Happy Birthday Sindy!!! 🎂)

Now I'm very much a child of the '70s, using camera equipment rooted in the past, wandering around a fairground full of illicit childhood memories (mother didn't approve) so for a change, some bright colours.
Don't really do bird photography, these didn't move much so I thought I'd have a go
An elderly man took the chance to talk to me, while I drew on my stool, about his and world history.
Found this online today, never seen it before. I kind of like her dress, does anyone know the name of it?

Superb '50's concrete forms
A disabled woman with crutches obviously from the 1970s. Notice how she has a platform sole shoe on her left leg to help her keep her non wrightbearing limb well clear of the ground.

It's a miracle anyone was brave enough to learn how to drive!

Genial viejo recorte de diario de aproximadamente unos 46 años que encontré detrás de un viejo espejo familiar, pertenecía a mi abuela. Casualmente es la página de cine y teatro. Deduje que es del 72’ googleando los estrenos de cine. Gracias IMDB…
Wonderful old newspaper clipping of about 46 years that I found behind an old family mirror, belonged to my grandmother. Coincidentally it's the cinemas and theatres page. I deduced it's from 72' Googling movie premieres. Thanks IMDB...

I took this photograph during the 70s Road Sports race at the Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park in August 2017. Leading is Neil Brown in a 1977 Lotus Eclat followed by Mark Oldfield in a 1978 Lancia Monte Carlo. The third car is Richard Attwood's 1978 Porsche 928 then the 1967 MGB Roadster of Peter Bowyer.
I don't actually know who any of these people are — friends of my parents — but this pic was so '70s I had to post it anyway.
