To mark the 15th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11, 7021 flags were placed on Art Hill - one for every serviceperson lost since. Each pole has a photo of the lost and their dog tags. While several hundred people were there when I visited - the only sound was the dog tags rustling in the wind - like tiny bells. Just before sundown, as if on queue, the wind died down, and a lone bugler sounded 'Taps"...
