CP 7021 has been caught in the 246/247 loop for the last week which has allowed for a variety of photo opportunities.
Yesterday we were down in Welland for a hike along the Welland Canal and this shot was in the back of my mind. Upon ending the hike we back tracked over with about 15 minutes to spare as 7021 arrived at River Road amid some fantastic light against stormy skies.
CP 7021 Military Tribute Locomotive leads Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway loaded ethanol train 528 at Wickham Marsh along Lake Champlain. 7021s paint scheme represents the colors of US and Canadian military vehicles used in Desert Storm and arid regions.
Along the Beautiful Mississippi River, CP "Sand" Military unit leads an empty Potash train. Blends in well with the hoppers. Can't think of an uglier train. I was considering changing this to B&W
Sand" SD70ACU tribute for the Canadian & US Army on the point of H20 Eastbound at Hastings MN. Thanks to Mark for the info
