Eastbound grain train heads down Great Northern Hill.

CP train 196, lead by CP 7019 (SD 70ACU) heads down Great Northern Hill with slightly less grand motors that appeared to be dead in tow. CP 7018 was a mid train helper but would have looked better up front.

After a crew change at Oakland CP 196 became 2-198. Seen here at Red Rock

A Wheeling loaded stone train out of Carey is just entering the CSX trackage rights at Greenwich. The tracks in the foreground are the old B&O mains between Chicago and Pittsburgh while the diamond crossing is the former NYC - Big Four line between Cleveland and Indianapolis-St Louis. The train is taking the connection between the two lines and will continue on CSX rails to New London where home rails will be regained.
