CP Heritage 7010 leads rail train CWR-13 over the Crow river in Rockford, Minnesota with a final destination of Winnipeg.
A heritage ACU leads 243 west on the Paynesville Sub out of Maple Lake. I originally went out for a KCS MAC pair on a ballast train, but after getting dinged by a large cloud bank out west, I went east to intercept this train. Luckily, no cloud bang happened here.
I much prefer the script to the block lettering on CP's wonderful heritage SD70ACU's. 7101 leads 234 out of Galt towards Toronto an hour after sunrise.
Hats off to the crew of CP 140. Prior to entering Oakwood Yard, the crew brought the train to a stop for a few minutes. This allowed the assembled rail fans the opportunity to get close up shots of this sharp-looking heritage unit. A moment to remember!
