I still prefer the look of film. These are the barns where I live. I am working on clearing a lot of overgrown vines etc. Some which you can see in the lower left.

Delaware Lacawanna's Mount Pocono train crests Lehigh Summit headed toward Scranton. Lehigh Valley-painted C420 414 leads; a total of seven Alco products power the train.
Saw plenty of 7-spot ladybirds last weekend, either on gravestones or in/on vegetation! Occasionally with other species!

Spine of Stein's "Making of Americans"
Done for Macro Mondays "white, red and blue" theme.
This book was begun the year Stein sat for Picasso eighty to ninety times for her portrait and finished three years later. It was not published for 17 years, and when it was it had a profound impact on the literary world. It is about three generations of an immigrant family and so much more . . .
A somewhat crazy moment at sunset catches the brilliant and colorful light at the right moment. The sky is lit with a lighting bolt of color, the foreground water is almost pure white, and the ocean is a combination of blue and orange. I am late, and there is little time to capture what I see.
When I arrived at Wakefield, the waters were crashing, logs were rolling, and the light was about to disappear. No time for the tripod, so 9 shots were taken. Sometimes it is possible to capture an image in sharp detail using the drive with one shot quickly taken after the other. This is the only one that is sharp, while the rest are now on the "cutting room floor"
El silencio. Ni ruido de las olas que no hay, el atardecer que se va para dar paso a la noche y el sol que se esconde entre unas nubes de formas caprichosas entre las islas que rodean a la mayor , St. Thómas. Mañana será otro día.
