Ninety Fleetlines with Northern Counties 'Standard' bodywork were ordered for the Lancashire United subsidiary for delivery between 1977 and 1981.

The first thirty were delivered in LUT's red and grey livery with the remainder arriving in the orange and white scheme designed for the LUT fleet. All arrived carrying LUT fleetnumbers, it being mid 1981 when a partial renumbering of the fleet brought it into line with the PTE's system. This one had been new as 507 in 1978, becoming 6923 in 1981.

The bus is seen at Eccles bus station en route to Glazebrook on service 20.
