The Seri Wawasan Bridge is one of the main bridges in Putrajaya, the Malaysian federal administrative capital. This futuristic cable-stayed bridge which has a sail ship appearance, connects Precinct 2 on the Core Island to the residential area of Precinct 8.
The concrete bridge is a combination of cable backstays and structural steel tie back. It is a dual three lane carriageways of 18.6m width each, comprising 3 x 3.5m width lanes, 0.5 m hard shoulder, 0.5m marginal strip. The median is 4 m wide and walkway cum cycle track width is 5.1m giving a total width of 37.2m at the centre of the bridge

Het was gisteren een drukke bedoeling rond de Hornweg in de Amsterdamse Westhaven. Twee RFO bakkies waren actief.
Toen in aankwam had RFO 682 de wagens al op de Steinweg geplaatst. De overige wagens werden geparkeerd om later deze week beladen te worden.
Amtrak Downeaster train 682 from Brunswick, Maine to Boston North Station slows for its station stop at Durham in this view looking down from the Main Street overpass at about MP 64.5 on modern day CSXT's Portland Sub mainline, the former Pan Am Railways Freight Main which historically was the Boston and Maine's Portland Division.
This station has been owned by the University of New Hampshire (whose flagship campus is here in Durham) since 1960 when it was purchased from the railroad for one dollar. This depot as well as many others which still survive along this route were all sold around the same time period as the spiraling B&M did anything and everything to raise cash and eliminate tax liablities in a vain attempt to stave off the inevitable bankruptcy. And it was a harbinger for the end of B&M intercity passenger service which was only five years away, well before the rest of the industry followed suit with Amtrak in 1971. Although with one caveat....the ICC mandated the B&M to run one round trip each to Concord and Dover, NH (the latter of which stopped here) two more years until those too finally ended in 1967.
As for the depot, it was erected on this spot in 1912 when the B&M double tracked and realigned their main (dating from 1841) out of the center of Durham. But this yellow brick building itself was actually built in 1896 as the East Lynn depot. It was disassembled and moved here from Lynn in anticipation of the grade separation project and proposed four tracking of the Eastern Route through that city that only partially came to fruition.
On December 15, 2001 passenger service returned with the inauguration of Amtrak's state funded Downeaster service between Portland, Maine and North Station in Boston. Nearly a quarter century later ten trains a day call here with more planned and passengers can travel as far north as Brunswick.
