Two BR J94's seen at Wansford, re-created for the 'Boston Bucket Bash' photo charter organised by the NVR Wagons Group earlier this week. 68018 is actually Austerity 3193 while 68070 is the Nene Valley's own out of ticket WD 75006. Both very well weathered and disguised as locomotives shedded at Boston in BR days.
Hunslet Austerity locomotives 3193 and 2855 were recently dressed up as British Rail J94's 68018 and 68070 respectively, with the aim of recreating railways around Boston in the 1950's. Here 68018 arrives into Wansford as the crew of 68070 look on. Taken on a photo charter arranged by the Nene Valley Railway Wagon Group.

Baker County Fair and Panhandle Rodeo Labor Day Weekend in Halfway Oregon.
Classic small town Americana in the town of Halfway Oregon along the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, with a parade, carnival, and rodeo. Baker County is home to more than 2 dozen Oregon Century Farms and Ranches, and agriculture is still an important part of the local culture. The Baker County Fair in Halfway is actually one of two Baker County Fairs celebrating this rich agricultural heritage. Always Labor Day Weekend, , the fair is all about farming, agriculture, and 4H, offering visitors a glimpse of rural Americana and of course, great rodeo action.

On shed at the end of the day, the last time 68018 or 60870 in the back ground will be seen for a while as both engines will revert back to their real identities of 3913 and 75006. A photo charter organised by the NVR Goods Train Group.
Stanier 8F 2-8-0 48624 is being disposed on the pit on Loughborough shed alongside Austerity 0-6-0ST 68067.
Not a lot of disposal needed for Class 37 diesel 37714 which is on road 2 beyond the bridge and will reverse into the Up Through to stable. This was the only time we saw 37714 all day even though we had been on the same train together since 10am!
