The greylag goose can be easily spotted around parks, gravel pits and river valleys, but these populations tend to be semi-tame, having been reintroduced. Truly wild populations can be found in Scotland.

Île aux Grues, Qc

Située au coeur du Fleuve St-Laurent à moins d'une heure de Québec, l'Isle-aux-Grues est la seule des 21 îles de l'Archipel à être habitée à l'année. La population est de 130 habitants, à cela s'ajoute 140 estivants. Petite île longue de 10 km et large de 4 km, l'Isle-aux-Grues a fait sa renommée grâce à ses excellents fromages, soit le Mi-Carême, le Riopelle et la Tomme de Grosse-île.
