After a successful strike this Osprey flew, looking straight ahead, for about a second. I’m pretty sure the sound of my shutter caused the bird to look in my direction, again for about a second. After that it was business as usual.
Here's our celebrity SoCal Snowy on top of a neighborhood chimney, getting buzzed by the local Cooper's. Obviously I had way too much lens to get the whole hawk, but you get the idea. Hawk only made one pass at her, so she was able to relax again and enjoy her morning, and I decided maybe I didn't need the 1.4 on that 600mm. I did crop this from the original horizontal format, which just included more rooftop and spark arrester on the chimney.

If you find you have a few words to say about what I have done they will be much appreciated.
My best regards to you.... Martin
