What a thrill to watch these two Peregrine Falcon fledglings. They got really excited here when one of their parents did a fly-by. Check this large for some lovely detail - zero crop with that Sony at full frame size.

Pearl Crescent Butterfly (Phyciodes tharos)

Despite being a very common butterfly in most of the US, it can often times be a challenge to photograph. This species always seems to be pumping it's wings open and closed and thats when it will actually sit still long enough for a image. This species is realitivly small with a 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 inch wing span.
I think the plant is Yellow Hawkweed, but not 100% sure..
Cute fuzzy baby animals on Easter. Just, not bunnies. Hurray Mentor Graphics campus on a sunny Sunday. On Pandemic stay at home directives it’s a great place to visit - few people, lots of social distancing.
