45th Reconnaissance Squadron / 55th Wing (Air Combat Command) - Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
"MANDY 51" is seen here making a 180 on the runway 11 under run prior to departing on a long mission, over the Baltic states. This airframe was the last KC-135 produced by Boeing, delivered on the 9th February 1965 before being converted for the following two years for the reconnaissance role.

Garðar BA 64 se cree que es el barco más antiguo en Islandia, construido en Noruega como un barco ballenero hace exactamente cien años.
Garðar se inició en Noruega en 1912, el año que el Titanic se hundió en el Océano Atlántico Norte. Fue nombrado Globo IV y estaba equipado con dos velas y una máquina de vapor. Fue especialmente reforzado para soportar las duras condiciones del Océano Antártico en que se utilizaba para cazar ballenas.
Globo IV fue vendido a las Islas Feroe en 1936. Al final de la segunda guerra mundial la nave fue vendida una vez más. Esta vez a Islandia. Una vez aquí, se le dio un nombre islandés, Siglunes SI 89, y el viejo motor de batalla de vapor que impulsó todos esos años fue sustituido por un motor diesel Ruston Hornsby 378 CV. Los propietarios y los nombres de los buques objeto de comercio por varios años hasta 1963 que finalmente adquirió el nombre que tiene hoy, Garðar.
Hoy Garðar es el destino inevitable oxidado en la arena que proporciona a los turistas con una escena espectacular y con la oportunidad de la foto perfecta.

This is from summer. I just don't have time to take new pictures. I'm so busy!! Today is homecoming. Literally, best day during the school year. We had an amazing assembly & homecoming king & queen were announced. I got back from being in the parade. Now I have to go to the football game to help & CHEER FOR MY TEAMMM!!!!
