Op 4-11-2023 werd er een besloten fotodag georganiseerd door medewerkers van de ZLSM met als thema diesel in de jaren zeventig en tachtig wat in Zuid Limburg is geweest.

Als verassing verscheen vanuit Simpelveld de NSM 2215 met de 2454 crew mat`64 904 om een afleverings transport vanuit Talbot in Aachen na te bootsen op deze lijn. De NSM 2215 +mat`64 904 tijdens een fotostop bij Wijlre.

De mat`64 904 reed 4 slagen van Amerfoort naar Barneveld Zuid en komt als trein 31437

aan Barneveld Noord op 3-5-2025.

De eer vind ik wel naar Floris gaan voor deze foto omdat hij me op een detail heeft gewezen dat je die goed in beeld erbij kan krijgen.

The title is a play on the Zac Brown Band song Highway 20 Ride. A part of highway 64 runs along the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan. The roadway was built in 1935 and named to honor the 107th Engineer Combat Battalion. The Michigan legislature named it the "107th Engineer Memorial Road " in 2001. It is an architectural feat and a beautiful ride in any season! I hope you enjoy the ride............
