From a recent "find" in a Canon high speed motor drive box,(it held slide boxes perfectly), we have Canadian Pacific M636 #4700 ready to fly solo east from Sherbrooke, Quebec with a cut of hot empties for the paper mills in Maine.

Op woensdag 28 december 2022 reed de VSM een infratrein naar Laag-Soeren tussen Eerbeek en Dieren. De geplande tractie was de 2459, en omdat ik zowel deze loc als de infratrein nog niet op de foto had besloot ik, ondanks het slechte weer, richting Loenen te gaan om de aanvoerrit te fotograferen. Uiteindelijk was de tractie niet de 2459 maar de 636, wat ik niet erg vond, want ook deze loc had ik nog niet op de foto.
Toen ik na een lange zware fietstocht met harde tegenwind eindelijk in Loenen aankwam, was er nog niks te zien, dus besloot ik eerst bij het station te blijven staan voordat ik naar de beoogde stek ging. Al vrij snel hoorde ik wat toeters en kort daarna kwam de Hippel in zicht. In Loenen kon ik enkele foto's maken van het rangeren, achteraf vind ik deze foto beter gelukt dan de foto op de stek.
Hier rangeert VSM 636 met een kort sleepje wagens op het VSM-station van Loenen. Hierna moest alleen nog een kraan worden aangekoppeld, daarna zou de trein richting Laag-Soeren vertrekken.

The BNSF Q-ATGLAC with the "Springfield" warbonnet in the lead at Turners, MO. 636 gathered this nickname by the locals as it was a local unit around Springfield for about 5 years. Came here towards the end of 2015 and got sent away in mid to late 2020. Was a real treat getting to see it again leading a road train.

Am Abend des 9.8.2023 waren 233 636 und 232 635 (am Zugschluss) mit GAG 68352 (Wismar - Baalberge) bei Nauendorf auf dem Weg Richtung Zielbahnhof unterwegs. Eine E-Lok brachte den Zug zuvor bis Halle (Saale) Gbf.
