鳴子峽是受到大谷川侵蝕形成的大峽谷，深達100公尺。是縣內首屈一指觀賞紅葉的名所。所謂紅葉，是指山野間的樹木在落葉過冬之前，葉片顔色轉為紅色和黃色。日本將欣賞紅葉稱為“紅葉狩”，是日本人秋季具有代表性的休閒活動之一。鳴子峽的紅葉季是從10月中旬至11月上旬。希望大家來看看鳴子的群山創作出的美麗風景。

SD40E rebuild sits in the engine house at Cresson, PA during a cold February night in 2013 before being assigned as a helper on a movement up the mountains of the Alleghenies. The locomotive was originally an SD50 5409 and modified in June of 2010.

I noticed this place when driving out of the small town of Balmorhea, Texas in Far West Texas. Directly across the street fresh spring water is flowing in a small stream. I had stopped at Balmorhea State Park where there is the world's largest spring-fed swimming pool. With the natural asset of fresh spring water only a few feet from the front door of this house, I can imagine it must have been a great place to build. There is an adjacent garage and a concrete building, possibly some kind of shelter.
