Fallow deer bucks, lovely antlers on the big boy on the right. I believe that the prominent lump in his throat is to enable him to bellow deeper and louder during the rutting season to improve his chances of attracting a mate. (Happy to be corrected).

The photo express highballs east thru Rudd, IA. The head 2 Sd60's were doing all the work as the rear SD60 was shutdown and drained and pretty much along to look pretty. This train came out of Hartley, IA, and is bound for the CSXT in Chicago, IL.
