Pelargonium is more commonly known by the name of Geranium.
The ivy leaf Geranium bears fleshy leaves on trailing stems, and comes in a wide variety of different colours and bi colours.
In Britain it is used in hanging baskets and tubs, but in many other countries it is widely used for ground cover.
You don't need to be green fingered to succeed with Geraniums.
They have few pests or diseases and even fewer fussy demands. All they need is plenty of light and free draining soil to continue producing flowers until late summer and sometimes into early autumn.
It's 'just' a (Canada) Goose, but he's feeling quite smug as his numbers are on the increase worldwide!!
