Twenty years later, #47, now #607 passes Rondout Tower. This unit has another 10 years of service to go at this point. All units except #611 (51) and #614 (54) were scrapped circa 2004. Had I'd known I would have been able to purchase an old photo of this locomotive 20+ years later, I would have taken better aim at it then.
Very well equipped. An ex Peugeot UK car so I guess spec was fair game although a lot of this was standard on SE cars.
On Sunday Lee Davidson's Ericson Scorpion, Una, heads back to her slip at Orchard Point Park. Scorpions were adapted from a mold taken off the Scandinavian Gold Cup winning Norwegian 5.5 meter class boat Carina, designed and built by Sigurd Herburn of Oslo in 1952.

This bus was new as 607 in 2001.

607 is seen heading up to Clermiston.
These buses were originally bought new with middel exit doors in the days when this had been in favour with the company for most of it's operating days. When the company became Lothian Buses, middel exit doors fell out of favour posibly safety issues?
These buses are also short wheel base and with long wheel base buses giving more capacity, these buses were converted to single door and used on peak rush buses.
