I took this photograph of a car I spotted down a side-street in Ashton-under-Lyne when I was on my way to work one morning in May 1993. It's a Tatra 2-603 II, a rear-engined car that was produced by the Czechoslovakian company from 1968 to 1975 and had a 2½ litre air-cooled V8 unit. It's a rare car in this country, and I've not seen one of these models before nor since this one.
New to East Midlands this and several other Leopard's were bought as double decker replacements.However this one seen here at Johnstone depot in September 1994 has run its last route.

Escalante Western Railway Westbound Coal Train passes through HWY 19 in Prewitt, NM. arriving back to the Plains Escalante Generating Station in Prewitt, NM. from El Segundo Mine between Ambrosia Lake & Crownpoint, NM. where the train was loaded. These 3 SD40’s are former B&O/CSXT SD40’s heritage. Escalante Western Railway ended operations in 2020.
ESWR Eastbound Empty Coal Train passes through a cut near Crownpoint, NM. headed to El Segundo Mine for loading & sent back to the Plains Escalante Generating Station in Prewitt, NM. to be unloaded.

There are 3 things that I like about this shot. 1 is that there is a full LED which as I know that I have my troubles is always a bonus. 2 I think the lighting is nice and with the time of the day the sun is starting to set quite nicely. 3 I love how you can see for miles as most of the time there is buildings and other traffic which stops you from seeing that. So, it is really nice being able to just look and see on and on. So, here we see the second shot of my first set of 2022 Lothian buses 603 on a service 3 to Clovenstone terminating at Dalkeith Campus which to those who have not come to take photos I would recommend as there were almost too many options for me to choose.
The combined VIA 601/603 passes the now obscured Wellington Tower with VIA 6438 up front and VIA 6405 mid-train.
Voor het rangeerwerk in Roosendaal heeft Shunter een rangeer lok. Naast het eigen rangeer werk rondom de loods rangeerd Shunter ook bij de houtbank met wagens die daar beladen worden voor Captrain. De 603 is op 8 juni druk bezig om wagens te plaatsen op de houtbank.
