(Hand-arm Vibration Testing Equipment)
Through the use of autonomous sensors that do not need to be wired during measurements, our innovative measurement system allows vibration measurements to be taken on handheld tools. At the end of the working period, data is downloaded from the sensor(s) using a docking station.
The software calculates and displays workers' hand-arm vibration exposure and compares it to the limits and action values in the vibration Directive. A two-sensor system has been developed to cover the full range of existing handheld tools: one for vibrating tools and the other for highly percussive tools (up to 50 000 m/s2).
Currently, only our measuring device, which can be attached to any tool, can take accurate vibration measurements without disrupting workers' tasks with annoying and fragile cables. A special version of the sensor is designed for measuring highly percussive tools.
