It's been written Mystic Amphitheater is a magical place and Alan Jackson certainly added to that charm on a cool Saturday night to close the Mystic Amphitheater season. Craig Campbell opened the show and included his current hit "Fish". Jackson took to the stage opening with his well known hit "Gone Country". He also entertained the crowd with favorites like "Living on Love", "Little Bitty", "Don't Rock the Jukebox" and "5 O'Clock Somewhere". As the week of 10th Anniversary of 9/11 drew to a close he also performed his touching tribute "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)?"
That's the theme in We're Here! and even though I don't drink, we had some empty bottles in the recycle bin. Our adult son lives with us and he and his girlfriend contributed to today's theme. With our life-threatening wind chills today, the girlfriend's place of work is closed for the day (the son wasn't scheduled to work as his place today anyway). So, it is 5 o'clock somewhere! (at the time I took this, it was just past 5 on the East coast).
