When I saw Dan and asked for a photo of him, I mentioned that I had been waiting for about 2 or 3 hours to find someone I wanted to shoot. I told him in so many words it was about the beard. He gave a slight smile, and said that shouldn’t have saved half of it off.
I am not sure that Dan liked being photographed. I had the feeling that he was just trying to help me get one shot further down the trail (that was after I mentioned I have been doing this project for almost 10 years). Dan seemed like a real straight shooter. When I asked him for one more shot with him looking at the camera (that was this one), he looked at me and said “One more.”. I had the feeling he meant it.
But from the few minutes I spent with him, and I know you can’t know someone in minutes, he hit me as a good hearted person, but someone that wouldn’t hesitate to tell you what he thought. Dan was an architect by trade. He told me he had ridden Harleys for 58 years. Dan hailed from Wisconson. He mentioned that when he left there to visit Charleston with his sister, Karen, that it was -5 degrees. I figure anyone that rode motorcycles in those kinds of winters had to have a little grit in them!

Split toned in Thiourea (warm brown setting) and Se 1+9, 45 sec.
Just wanted to show what different output you can get by split toning in Thiourea and Selenium compared to an untoned print. Both prints identical in all other aspects.

W okresie letnim pociąg ten planowo był zestawiany z 5-ciu wagonów retro ze względu na obsługę dodatkowego kursu wokół Poznania. Pozaplanowe dołączenie do niego dwóch wagonów typu 120A było związane ze wzmocnieniem składu pod potrzeby grupy zorganizowanej.

this is how i've been feeling lately. face in hands, curled up in a chair or on my bed.
at least i've had some free time lately. i've actually been reading a book.
now that i'm caught up i will do my best to actually update my 365 on time.
I work every day for the next week, excuse me if my photos feel a little distant, sometimes life tries to get in the way of magic-making

Took this is the freezing water. I found it is extremely difficult to do a shoot in the water by yourself...
Leave me out with the waste. This is not what I'd do. It's the wrong kind of place to be cheating on you. It's the wrong time. She's pulling me through. It's a small crime and I've got no excuse.
