The photos are made inside the window, unfortunately no sun, even if the weather gets better, the lens also comes into its own better you need enough light so I have to use high ISO because I do everything manually I can't not work with a tripod

I took the family out to Carizzo Plains today via Hwy. 58. As you can see there is plenty of color still on the hills. It was a gorgeous day.
Behind freshly rebuilt SD70ACU no. 7250, U44 crosses US Hwy 58 in St. Paul, headed for Carbo with empty DKPX train 741 from Plant Marshall.

As I headed towards to the coast yesterday, clouds filled the sky. No texture, no light breaking through and not much in the way of atmosphere. But I reminded myself that it was good to be outside, regardless of the weather! Although i'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad disappointed.
I descended the stairs onto the shore of Birling Gap and got my camera ready. The sky was brightening and optimism renewing. The next five or so photos show the very quickly changing conditions I was greeted with that evening and the times they were taken. Taken at 16.58.
