Ipswich Buses 57 (PN52 XBJ) a DAF DB250/East Lancs Lowlander, seen on route 15 in Ipswich, 8th April 2019.
This bus was new to East Coast Buses as 10057 in 2017.

East Coast Buses and Lothian Country tend to swap/transfer buses between both Lothian subsiduries. This means there is a mix of livery. It was decided to standardise to the Lothian Country livery of green & white. This now means only the company names need changing to get a bus on the road quickly.
East Coast Buses are rapidly having their buses curned out in the new livery. Also the fleet numbers are reverting back to 2 and 3 didget fleet numbers also.
This bus was originally 100517when new and now has the new fleet number 57, a fleet number previously taken by the Dennis Darts.

Had a spare capture on Champaz that i took from the other day... He was looking up just as i was taking this capture, as a fly came buzzing around the light... He tried several times to get the fly , then Blacky comes in gets the fly and eats it... xxxx Michelle xxxx Champaz and xxxxx Blacky..

Thanks to Ilya I at least got from 8 to 9, but I was making it a 0 three times in a row. Not starting the year typing well.
Started with rough pencil lines. Cleaned them up and erased just to have a reference point. The rest is all colored pencil! Dropped the ball on the wheels I think, but I'm reasonably happy otherwise.
The CAR-57/1 is a select-fire assault rifle, designed to compete with the M-92 which was very heavy and not good as a service rifle. While it was incredibly accurate and deadly rifle it was quite cumbersome indeed. For this, Ottomans had needed a new rifle, that could use the power, accuracy and caliber of the M-92, but would be more compact and would have a greater rate of fire. The result was the Carbiner Assault Rifle 57.
It was a great rifle as it held great accuracy but was much more compact and easy to use compared to the M-95. It is, by no means, similar to it handles differently.
Only 10 years after this weapon could start usage, due to some price overruns in the military. Homever, even then, it would only stay in service in just fifteen years. But in that time it has proven to be a reliable companion for soldiers and snipers alike and still continues duty, mostly as a marksman rifle but many also use it as their primary weapons.
It also had another variant, the CAR-57/2. It had a shorter barrel and a foregrip attachment but lacking the bipod, making for a good covert operations weapon.
